Daniel Duarte

**Daniel Duarte | SP, New York Mets** Duarte takes the ball as a starter for the Mets with the upside and uncertainty that typically comes with pitchers still establishing themselves in the rotation. Without recent performance data available, he'll need to prove consistency on the mound while the Mets evaluate where he fits into their long-term pitching plans. Keep an eye on his strikeout and walk rates early in the season as indicators of whether he can command games at the major league level.
